<!--start of story text-->Former school principal Lee Lip Hong stepped out of Changi Prison after six weeks in jail on Friday - and immediately paid tribute to his wife of 14 years for standing by him.
She could have ditched him amid the darkest period of his life, after news broke earlier this year that the 39-year-old was among 48 men charged with sleeping with an underage prostitute.
But she has been there for him - visiting him twice in prison and giving him Chinese inspirational literature to keep his spirits up, he said.

They prayed for me, encouraged me, and told me not to try to get out of the problem but to face the consequences.
- Mr Lee Lip Hong, on the strong support he has received over the past few months from former colleagues and friends, many of whom are Christians
