But Lin is apparently uncontactable.
In July 2007, Mr Lin, 43, organised a celebrities charity soccer match to raise funds for Metta Welfare Association.

A businessman known only as Peter reported the former actor to the police, who is now investigating the case.
Peter who is about 40, told Chinese media that he met the actor at the Celebrities Resort Club in March 2007.
It was then that Mr Lin sought his support to organise the Singapore-Hong Kong celebrities charity soccer match.
Peter agreed and helped to raise about $260,000 from friends and business associates.
Lin was to have donated $126,000 to Metta Welfare Association after deducting $138,000 for expenses.
In February last year, Peter realised that Lin had yet to pass the funds to Metta. After some probing from Peter, Lin agreed to pass them the funds by June, but ended up disappearing with the money.
Peter tried to contact Lin several times but was not able to reach him. His mobile phone line is no longer in service.
In February last year, 28 workers from the Celebrities Resort Club also reported Lin to the Ministry of Manpower for owing them some $30,000 in wages.
Lin has acted in a number of Channel 8 drama serials, mostly in supporting roles. He left the media industry to start a business after that.
Shin Min Daily also reported that loan sharks have been leaving spray-painted messages at his old home address.
According to neighbours, his mother lives there but he has moved out.
