SINGAPORE - Former Olympic champion Joseph Schooling has confessed to consuming cannabis while he was on short-term disruption from full-time national service (NS) in May.
In a statement on Tuesday (Aug 30), national sports body Sport Singapore revealed that the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) had investigated Schooling, 27, and fellow national swimmer Amanda Lim, 29, for the consumption of cannabis.
My advise to future sportsperson. Go compete internationally on your own accord and expenses. So not get involved with the govt or authority. So u can have the freedom to do whatever u want in your life.
If u want to compete internationally that represent ur country. Then draw up a contract in black and white what they can or cannot involved in your life. The boundaries must be very clear.
The sinkie swimmers are not streetsmart enough to do self care in such a manner. Very similar to those vaccinated ones who just go along whatever the govt wants them to.

It is good that a Olympic gold medalist is rewarded with a decent job. His sacrifice in training is not wasted.
