Isn't this enough proof Tesla owners are dumb? Rich but dumb. Including the owners in SG.
After all the myriad of issues eg getting locked out of you own car and having to pay monthly subscription for the features installed in your car....

If the climate alarmists really want to reduce carbon emissions or their own carbon footprint, they should seriously consider committing suicide.

A dead person does not exhale CO2. There, Captain Planet will be so proud of you. Kill yourself today!

you haven't even scratched the tip of this felonious greenwashing.

In cali where that video is taken, the gahmen is asking citizens to stop using air conditioning because the grid can't handle it.

Their only viable near term solution would be to start firing up coal plants. Don't need a genius to figure out it's going to cause even more pollution.

The only two ways of generating enough green electricity to power these travesties of engineering is hydropower or nuclear. If a country does not have a surplus of those, it's just a joke.

And yeah they want everyone to buy an electric car. If theybstart to charge the powergrid will just explode or go dark. These people are insane. They will bring down their country

Hydro dams almost on the non sustainable list due to damage to environment.
And nuclear considered dangerous if its back up power fails, like in fukushima or operation failure, like Chernobyl.

Currently it takes less than 5 minutes to fill a tank. Using EV,s takes 30 minutes by fast DC charger for 80%.

I didn't say no damage nor no disaster -- non-destructive. I said sustainable -- means it will keep forever without appreciably consuming resources.

Oh c’mon don’t be mean. Most Tesla owners now carry a spare power generator in their boots powered by petrol

i’ve posted about this before. when tesla drivers do their daily commutes and drive home after work it’s ok as they can recharge their ev’s at home. but during the weekend or holidays these drivers go out of town for long drives, and that’s where trouble brews. the wait time at harris ranch (mid point on i-5 between sillycon valley and lost angels) can be 69 minutes for an available charging point plus another 69 minutes for charging. moreover, majority of these ev charge points are either not working or vandalized/damaged. driving a hybrid gives you a better peace of mind when gas cost us$6.9 a gallon. my porsche has a 20-gallon tank and can cruise to lost angels without refueling. range on a single tank if cruising at 69 mph on the 6.9th gear can reach 569 miles.

This is how Elon Musk gets richer and richer as Tesla owners are being held ransom by the lack of supercharging stations.

Then you are dumb. Without fast charge why would anyone even buy. Its very expensive. And many cities in america dont even have chargers or ban it due to power grid will burn out.

From the movie who killed the electric car. The objective of getting an EV is the savings of charging the car at home. N it will cost about 10% of a full tank of gas. N the EV is for the daily commute to work n back n pick up kids etc ...so a real range of 300km is more than enough. That is wat 90% of car owners do in ang mor lands. When get home n charge it overnight or charge alternate days etc n it's no issue. However I am reading alot of EV drivers going long distances etc whereby the EV was not designed for it . EVs are designed for those ang Mors who live in houses n can charge directly..n don't most families in the suburbs have more than 1 car? N cars in Yankeeland are so cheap. Have 1 ICE car n 1 EV car...for the road trips .use the ICE car.. wat the big deal? N right tool for the right job...no point complaining about EVs when it being made to do wat it's not designed to do .. remember..the right tool for the right job

the problem is a weekend drive to the beach from the valley. easily 169 miles roundtrip, half of a typical range of a tesla. other ev’s not so great in terms of range. the problem is sexacerbated with a roundtrip to lost angels. even for a tesla must recharge full at harris ranch or coalinga. because you don’t want to reach san fernando valley and find out your charge is near zero. there are dozens of ev’s waiting at harris ranch, but thousands waiting on the outskirts of lost angels as lost angels and surrounding towns have hundreds of thousands of ev owners too. as a visitor driving ev out of town over 696 miles out is a headache. must plan route properly and hope to get lucky during stops. plus, the energy monopolies supplying electricity are broke from all the lawsuits from wildfires they cause, and they have no money to upgrade grid. the grid is reaching 69 years old. no state nor federal gov is willing to spend money on it as there’s no political payback.

For every problem, there is always a solution. No man made problem is insurmountable.

If the current battery in the car dies out, is it that difficult to get another SPARE battery from the boot, to replace it? Current EV car models have more space, with the combustion engine & its needed infrastructure obsolete. Why do we even carry a spare tire in the combustion engine era past for? SPARES ...are the solution.

mai siao lah. carrying spare batteries in car means carrying sextra weight which impacts performance, battery life and range of car. no auto manufacturer will offer that. the most they will offer is a quick battery replacement in a workshop or kiosk or pit stop along the freeway.
