When PAP Govt wants to over -populate the small island, there are dreadful spillovers.
Living space will get smaller, more greenery will be gone, more cars will be on the road, jobs will be difficult to find, queues will be longer at hospitals, everything will be affected when more people are wontonly loaded into a small island.
How can you have a big population on a small island without traffic problems, without housing problems, etc.....this is a self-inflicted difficulties becos of greed and power.
Pokey Singapore cannot behave like a big China. This kind of behavior will bring hell to singapore.
When you up the ERP rates, peasants who need vehicles to eke out a living will suffer while rich people enjoy their smooth ride.
ERP will not reduce car population. Traffic jams will direct to other roads.
It is also not fair to purposely create bigger problems for local singaporeans to own cars for the sake of wealthy foreigners.
Can you imagine if ERP does not work anymore?
Can you imagine when PAP eventually loses power, ERP being demolished, our roads will go haywire.
LTA should study a better solution factoring foreign ownership of cars, ridding redundant FTs' presence., etc.
ERP is like a time bomb, it will not solve problems though it may bring big fortune to PAP leaders and their families.
PAP continues to think that hurting pockets is the best to solve difficult problems will sink singapore even deeper.
All these malicious policies with PAP ministers being defensive and not working for people will destroy singapore.
