There we go again... Minister talks abt CMS....
Doesn't he realise that even if you had a physical presence doesn't neccessarily mean that your heart is there... How many govt officials are really close to the grounds ??! Answer quite obvious... In fact, I wonder if they are even regularly physically on the ground !
Have a friend living in Seletar Hills estate for 20+ yrs and commented tt this place though part of AMK GRC has been totally neglected... Recently govt gave some 3-4mil "upgrading" budget to upgrade about 5km radius
She says that this budget can hardly upgrade 1-2 playgrounds... therefore to cover their arses... govt give residents options:
A. Widen road
B. Revamp playgrounds
C. dunno wat and wat
Choose only 1
She also say old folks appealed to govt to hv more access to public transport to nearest MRT stations but no direct bus.. must change 2 buses to reach mrt 1km away !
