But in World War II USA only got hit in Hawaii by Japan.

They did liberate Europe from the Nazis even though Nazis didnt attack USA directly.

If USA had stuck to this principle of "home soil" then China and the whole of South East Asia would be under Japanese rule today. We would all be speaking Japanese and Japan would be damn strong.

Europe would be all German.

And North America would probably be conquered by Japan and Germany.
