For those FDH who have been spending their time out on sundays or any day offs , please be responsible by going for the covid test if they have spent time with foreign male workers staying at dormitories . This may help prevent many more new cases and save lives .Employers who have given approval to their FDH to go out recently , please check your family members , especially children under their care if they show symptoms. Singapore is currently facing a spike in covid cases and we hope they will show responsibility towards society by taking the tests to prevent the spread . Thank you for taking note.

It's the asymptomatic ones that are causing the spread, not those with symptoms who are quickly isolated. Your paranoia is unfounded.
Chances are test will be positive as there are other types of corona virus which we may not know about and are harmless and lurking in our innards.
Agree and it is the abundance of asymptomatic carriers that proves just how mild the virus is. The mortality rate is in the same ball park as influenza so the over-the-top response is very irresponsible to say the least.
We should do some random sampling to test for prevalance of the virus.
Pick a few random estates and test everyone. Get some real data on this virus.
Two things need to be done asap :
1. Random testing of a sample that is as large as possible to establish infection rate.
2. Antibody testing to find out what percentage of people out there have actually had the infection and are now immune.
Without these figures all the WHO data means absolutely nothing yet policy that is affecting the lives of 8 BILLION people is being formulated based upon these numbers.
Can you assume command of our national response to Covid-19? But keep the partial lockdown. The one month break is nice.
