What he is saying is that you can commit any sin, however vile and violent they but as long as you accept God therefater and repent, you can be redeemed.

If you are clean, good, and did no wrong to mankind but did not accept god, you are screwed.

We learned from him that he was an ex-elder of his former church. We have and are still providing counseling to him and his family to help restore him back to faith. He has repented and is sorry for what he has done.

If doesnt matter if this poor bastard is a deacon, elder or a pastor. Fact is he's a CHRISTIAN. He's suppose to have God & a holy spirit to help him discern between whats right & wrong.
Obviously his moral compass is so screwed up.

Even a Christian can fall from grace. And maybe he's just the tip of an iceberg. Those who attend church is to praise God? Dont make me laugh. 90% of the time is to check out the opposite sex.
And what's God got to do with it? Nothing. Blame it on the over zealous pastor that cranks the silly "if you dont believe, you'll go to hell" sermon. This Rodney chap must have thought that as long as i believed I can do anything i want without getting my ticket to heaven rejected.
