New citizens and Grassroots people may be PAP's loyal supporters but they also have a stake on the reserves.

We should continue the call to get the reserves audited by independent auditors, better still if the auditors are from Hongkong and Taiwan.

Only through knowing how the reserves are spent over the years will determine whether the system is honest or not.

Oppo parties should also talk about it, and throw the responsibility to the voters that if they remain quiet about this reserves issue, they are also accountable for the singapore future .

The potential chink could be the loss of jobs especially to foreigners. This is what could really cost the pap many votes at the next electrions. Particularly those individuals who keep harping that foreigners should be hired.

Job issues can be whitewashed.
Many locals lost their high-end jobs to new citizens---new citizens are economic refugees. PAP bastards will still call these new citizens singaporeans.

Local voters are already diluted, the win for PAP at the polls is for sure.

Only dishonesty in managing public funds will ramshackle the PAP machinery.
