Dear Wei ling, Go ask your Papa why you and yr family are getting all the bad karma. Good leaders use the law equally, evenly, unemotionally and have a sense of justice and fair play. But your good old papa becomes personal, vindictive, and when consumed and enabled with power, reeks misery and destruction on those whom he disagrees with, those whom he perceived as threats to him, or simply those who grate on his nerves.
Can you believe yr Papa can throw men without trial and due process of law into cruel oblivion and separate him from his family for 20 over years, long after Communism is dead, and long after he poses no more threat to society? Where were you with your sense of justice and compassion?
Where were you when your Papa reduces Opp leaders to a state of despair and uses words like "crawling back on knees to beg for mercy"? I have never known a leader of a govt in a First world country uttering such words and taking the law into his own hands. have you?

Mama has been suffering since 2008 because of ill health. This poor guy suffered for more than TWO DECADES simply because he had a different vision of what was right for Singapore.
