Don't study in the UK, well not in this uni

London Metropolitan University is a poor institution. Always appearing near the bottom of league tables. However, the existing students who are in the UK legitimately are being unfairly punished by UKBA. This is certainly not right.

Top Universities like Oxbridge, LSE, Imperial, UCL are unlikely to be affected. Foreigners will still want to study here because of their reputation.

this is only the beginning. The UK is becoming more an more so-called "pro-British". Soon they will restrict and slowly close foreigners from attending top unis.

Unlikely. Top Universities (and the government) know that foreign students are major cash cows for the economy. A study by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills estimated that tuition fee income to the UK was worth at least £4bn in 2008-09.

Only weak universities like LMU will fold because no foreign students will want to go somewhere with a crap reputation.
I have no sympathy for this University but a lot for their students, some of whom have paid at least £15,000 per year for their course.

Tell that to the Tory Government

London Metropolitan University is a poor institution just like our local Sungei Road!!

education hubs like UK, US and australia allow foreign students to pay full fees, thus provide employment and income to their economy. And if a particular foreign students show some ingenuity, they will give him employment and citizenship. Thus his education was provided for free to host country by the parents from a third world country, but the benefits goes to the developed world.
