Does the new Safra restaurant cluster of 4 Covid-19 cases shows that it's no longer safe to eat in restaurants any more?

I am amazed that people are still going to the two casinos. Amazing sinkies Bo Kia Si when it comes to gambling.
interesting isn't it? just points to the fact that these people are gambling addicts.

addiction of any sort causes rational behaviour to go out the door. fear is suspended and you can really engage in some self-destructive behaviours. another one to watch out for for sinkies because drugs are not easily available is char boh. the addiction / obsession can lead people to do some really dumb things...

Spot on. What's the point when the virus can be spread even when there is no fever.

The virus is pretty harmless and 80% of the those infected show only mild symptoms. The official infection rate of those below 50 is 0.2% and the actual infection rate is probably even lower.

This makes the infection no more dangerous than seasonal flu which kills about 15 out of the 100,000 it infects. You don't worry about the flu every time you leave the house so why bother about the Corona virus.

The only people who should be more cautious are the elderly and those already with existing issues that have compromised their immunity or weakened their respiratory system but this advice applies to influenza as well.

The bottom line is to just carry on with life in the normal manner. There are many ways to die and the corona virus makes very little impact in the overall risk profile.

9 out of the 13 cases were from the SAFRA Jurong private dinner.

In total we have 8 + 9 = 17 cases due to one bloody dinner. And how many more in the days to come?

Bloody irresponsible twats. Having a dinner (possibly buffet!!!) at a time of pandemic!

Royal idiots!
I agree. This is crazy but I guess it's also because the government has downplayed the risk so much that people seems to have forgotten that we are in the middle of a pandemic.

And to add on, I notice less and less people wearing mask in crowded public transportation MRT and buses. The government's propaganda machine is so effective that Singaporeans is believing that all is fine in Singapore.

More likely there is a severe shortage of masks.

In the buffet, people literally pick at a common set of food, using a common set of cutlery, and with each scoop, place both food and cutlery on their own saliva infested plate or bowl.

This is insane!

It depends on the kind of buffet. At the more atas restaurants, they have a server or chef stationed at each food section.

At some Japanese buffets, you order at the table and the waiters/waitresses bring the food to you.

KNN the problem is exactly what you ownself said KNN sg is a aging cuntry and a large proportion belongs to this group KNN also even the young and strong can easily pass it to their family members KNN

hold the same tongs for each dish.
moreover sinkie buffet diners scratch noses, dig for boogers in nostrils, cough into hands before grabbing same tongs. sometimes can see their fingerprints on stack of empty plates at the counter. they touch them, change their minds and return plates to stack. same with bowls, spoons, etc., that are at soup stations. i used to treat friends to bbq and buffet lunches every month, and worst offenders are asiatics: sinkies, jiuhukias and jiuhubors, chinks, tiongs, pinoys. some have lived in sillycon valley for decades but still behave like crass peasants and coolies when it cums to dining. leave food scraps, dirty plates and bowls, glasses, and dirty paper napkins everywhere. they don’t mark their glasses so always grab an empty one and drink away. in order to avoid cross contamination i have to prepare dozens of clean glasses on a separate counter to let them grab clean glasses. and they still mix their used ones with the clean ones. and they dirty my white marble counter tops with gravy spills and food scraps, never bothering to clean up after their mess. i have to go around picking up their used glasses, utensils, cutleries, plates and cleaning up after them. otherwise a high class lunch can easily becum a crassy pig sty. now i only invite angmohs. angmohs are the best!

Singaporeans are immensely stupid. Avoid gatherings and STAY AT HOME. How fucking hard can that be.

All dinners, outings, trips to the bird park, restaurant gatherings, etc, should be suspended with immediate effect.

And fucking wash your hands and fucking stop touching your bloody fuck face
Many people easily believe what government says.
They see there no virus crisis.
So why staying home???
Some buffet queue still long
