Not just looking like an ordinary guy but actually having very low fat.

I don't think the number of obese ppl in sg is high unlike say the US but most guys still well how should i put it are not totally lean.

How to have a smooth flat tummy when there's a six-pack ab muscular curvature? :D

yes that's correct but you should know what i'm talking about.

Another thing i noticed is that most ppl with a 6 pack don't have protruding abs. It's just that their body fat is so low that all their abs are shown but they aren't well developed at all.

On another note i noticed that i'm sort of stronger and fitter after losing some fat and of course some body size. I look smaller but am stronger.

3. btw, those same individuals do take steroids to obtain that so-called physique.
4. good health does not need six pcs or what to prove it.
5. yes, i did have some flat abs right until i hit 41.
6. now, i still have some flat tummy.
7. no, i don't take supplements or things to boost mass.
8. rest, sleep & balanced diet & of course the appropriate fitness regime. (forget good sex helps too)

10. in real life, i am not too far away from that.
11. hahaha!

Oh yes you are a runner aren't you?

I remember you writing about your fitness regime some time back looks pretty comprehensive. Good to see someone here that exercises regularly.

As for those models taking steroids actually yes many of them do and the pics are photoshopped and they take them while having a pump as in they worked out before taking those shots so that their muscles are even more defined than usual.

The thing is some ppl are natural and look pretty shredded. The problem is nobody will actually admit they take steroids unless they have the usual characteristics such as body acne, gyno or man milk, bloated tummy with a 6 pack in which they cannot hide them.

I suppose at the end of the day for some ppl just don't have the genetics to achieve that naturally and there's nothing they can do about it and yes having low bodyfat with 6 pack means you're healthier than someone who doesn't have that. Just on the asethetic side.

seen a lot of flat chested sinkies for sure, both sexes. not so many fat tummies. can't compare to america, land of obesity.

If you know about Wing Chun and Jeet Kun Do, power of punch or kick comes from the waist. The abs if muscular supplies the power, if weak or fat, it burdens the waist instead of the waist generating power and facilitating flexibility. Even police and army know that. That's why IPPT got sit-up and sit-and-and-reach.

1. bro, aiyoh!
2. no eye see on the running thing.
3. yes, i did much middle-distance running in the 70s, 80s & 90s.
4. you never believe this: ran from katong to fullerton building & back at 12midnight.
5. cheonging!
6. however, i had some surgery on my right leg last september preventing me to take up running again.
7. 4 months after the operations, i attempted.
8. but there was some internal swelling at the affected area.

At 40+, I used to have the same problem with lower abdominal fats ... I did what Kopiuncle suggested above with the following additions:-

1. Watch my diet ... reduced intake on carbohydrates (rice) and eat more vegetables as replacement.
2. Exercise ... at least 3 Km run 4X a week
3. Bought myself a AIBI Abdominal Toning Belt and do 2 hours toning per day
4. Do 40 situps per day (without fail)

Start right after CNY, lost 5.6 Kg and got back my 6-pack in about 6 weeks.

PS. Kopiuncle, Beer is OK lah ... cut down on the snacks!

Cheers

on ab workouts there's also the ab roller. I have that at home. But it seems that sometimes my working out my arms more compared to my abs.

Starvation is not a solution, in fact you may even get a bigger tummy. Look at those people in poverty stricken countries, they are left with nothing but bones and tummies.

Ab Toning Belt works on different concept ... using electrical pulses to massage the muscle. It is not intended to reduce fat but only for muscle toning. Fat reduction needs to be achieved via
cardio trainers.

If you have the time, perhaps you can go down to AIBI @ NEX (Serangoon) for a demo.

Cheers

IPPT has NO sit-and-reach.
