You hear first hand from me.
Optician will not tell you this becos they want to make money.
Do away with all those expensive and much touted branded progressive lens.
Key factor that will make your vision clear and non distorted for progressive lens is not the type of lens you use .
Lens price can have a huge difference in price from less than a hundred per lens to thousands per lens.
It is the frame that you choose that makes the whole wide world difference.
The cheapest pair of progressive specs I have made cost less than $300 including the frame and the lens. And it is the most comfortable pair I have compared to other specs that cost me $900.
Do not choose a rectangle shape frame or those funky Korean big eyed frame, it will distort your image no matter how expensive the lens is compared to a cheapest lens in the market with the right frame.
Choose either a round or a square frame.
The idea is always try to minimise the left and right angle with sufficient space for reading for it's height.
There is no point to have extra spaces out of your left and right. Leemember your eyes cannot pop out to the left and right for viewing.
Look no further for this kind of frame.
Trust me and thank me later.
