Having lived in the HDB ghettos since young, you'll think that I will develop a sense of empathy with these 'heartlanders'. It's quite the opposite. I learn to despise them and their petty, simplistic minds. They have no sense of reason or decorum, and deserve to be ruled by Lee's iron hand. Now I avoid them like the plague, by living in condos,going to more deserted places, and driving.

Countries that have many rich civil servants who are out-of-touch with the ordinary people are recipes for disaster in later years. History has seen to that, and PAP cannot avoid history if they continue in this past.
