I cannot understand why are you all disturbed when the people who polled are even less than a 1000 when there are more than 4 million in singapore.

Imagine there are many people who lead a real life outside rather than joining participation in online forum. The people in online forums are just more vocal and more hand on time that's why they can post there. What they polled doesn't represent the majority.

Finally a smart word from someone.

Firstly guys, besides the basic fact that the sampling population here is damn small, have you considered the quality of the sample population??

Flowerpod is a forum where girls go to trade MAKE UP and skin care tips. How many girls in sinkapore wear makeup or is crazy about make up? What kind of girls are these? THINK!

Usually, the more dolled up ones --> and thus girls with higher expectations.

So is it any surprise that the poll is like this?

If you guys want a non-materialistic gf, go to the National Library and pick up a chick without make up and reading a decent book. Don't say lola never give guys tips. :p:p:p

Anyway, the flowerpod girls aren't that bad if you notice that they are mainly a thrifty bunch who trade tips on where to get cheap stuff to maintain themselves. They are also as knowledge inquisitive as they come, given that there are many frivolous girls who just buy tons of make up and not even use them.

Bottomline is, if you want a woman who takes good care for herself with an eye for value, you've got to be prepared that she has expectations.

Actually another way of intepreting the survey is that the girls want that from their future spouse, but they've never said that they expect the guy to be the main provider. I'm sure that given the amount of money they want to SAVE from trading tips on flowerpod, they won't mind contributing to the family home.

Then again, I'm biased because for me, I'm thrifty because I'm saving money for my future kids. Gucci handbags can't be eaten by young children.
