Disgusting Old Men

aiya... nowadays ppl like to complain. While i condone these old men actions, i had seen worse in my 26yrs (now 32yo) of taking buses in spore.

i had seen ppl smoke on double deck, spit out of the bus, on the floor of the bus. chewing gums on the seats, peanut shell all over the place, ppl talk in their dreams, couples groping each other and the last but least, passaengers who keep turning their back to stare at the back even though they are sitting way in front.

i myself had also pull stunt when i was younger. last time double steck bus no aircon so must open window. There was this early 20s long hair gal sitting in front of me ( me only 15-16yo). With the bus travelling at 70km/h, (last time bus driver thinks they are F1 driver) her hair keep fly onto my face. I tap her shoulder to ask can she doing something to her hair to prevent me from "eating" her hair. That nbcb ignored me, it getting on my nerves so i tied part of her hair to her seat handle and got off the bus. With my bus stamp, i just hop on the next available bus, dont know what happen to her.

Darn... feeling old now.
Hahahaha!
She is now bald. All your fault. :)

1. One man occupied a seat on a public bus and put his food packets on the other seat. An elderly lady wanted to sit but the old man refused. Created a commotion and the bus driver had to intervene. The old man still refused to give up his seat and scolded the driver, the elderly lady and other passengers who tried to intervene.
This is a classic case of a local elderly man who has shown his inconsiderate, rude, selfish character. Do you think his children and grandchildren are better behaved?

2. An even bigger fucker. An MRT passenger complained that an old man stuck some chewing gum in her hair and proceeded to giggle together with his friend. This old man is an even bigger fucker than the one in point 1. He is very close to assault and should be arrested by the police.

Does anyone know if the victim had any prior conflict with the old man? Is the victim taking any action? Is the law taking any action against this motherfucking old man? Does this old sob have any family members?

it is because singapore is so crowd
with so many FT and FW
and so much pressure pap put on the citizen
you produce such people
it is sad, but which is worse, old men who refused to share the public transport seat, or MIW who enrich themselves with the people money?

There is no point in blaming such inconsiderate and selfish people on the rulers, when the majority of the people are too apathetic, ignorant or afraid to use their vote wisely.
Does this mean that we just allow the old men to continue being inconsiderate or the rulers to think of themselves ahead of the people?
We should tell off the inconsiderate fuckers and vote out the rulers, whenever and wherever appropriate.

There may be one good reason for their behaviour ... SENILE

No excuse, just like I'm sure you wouldn't excuse a madman for killing someone.
If he has a family, they should be keeping him at home or in an institution. If he doesn't, the state should take over the role of looking after the citizens.
I don't think he is senile as he seemed to be buying food back for someone.
He's just a spoilt badly brought up brat who grew old but never grew up.

Sorry, didn't read your starting post. I was making a general statement about "disgusting old men" in you title.. heheh.

But, begging to differ, a mad man is indeed excused based on his medical condition. And if an old man suffering from alzheimer's or something pisses on your foot, will you be mean enough to berate him?

And talking about senile old men should be in institutions or at home, don't we have one who's still strutting around and ruling a nation? :D:rolleyes:

Then what happened?

Btw this sort of behaviour is unacceptable regardless of age and sex. You pay for 1 seat, you want 2 seats then bloody well pay for 2 seats, no, then move off from the other seat and give way to other passengers.

I tell you in this regard these type of people need to be dealt with by LKY. They do not appreciate gracious civic minded behaviour. I say bring out the 'stick' then, they only appreciate fear and punishment.

Another time, another woman in her 30's also did the same & when I asked her to put them on the floor, she refused. The husband who was sitting in front accused me of harassing his wife. I got angry & told him off. The bus captain agreed with me, stopped the bus & asked the woman to put the bags on the floor but she also refused to do so.

I would certainly berate his family or the state, whichever it may be.
Senility is a matter of perception.
What is senile to some is brilliant to others. :)

Are you replying to tonychat or to me?
If to me, I think you are the pimp. (pimp writer that is) :(
If to tonychat, please carry on. :)
Btw, I am definitely not the grandson unless the old men were ghosts.

Of course, its tonychat. :D

Well, I continued my tirade against them until they were embarrassed & the rest of the other passengers were also commenting on their selfish, inconsiderate behaviour.

On reaching their bus stop, they quickly alighted as I fiercely glared at them.

Actually it useless to argue when the other party is an elderly. Bloody waste of breath and confirm come out on the losing end as can be mistaken as bully the elderly.

Once got into a arguement with an old lady on the bus. What cause it i can remember as it a long time ago. What really piss me of was that she was screaming on top of her lungs and scolding me in cantonese, assuming me to be a non cantonese speaker. I cursed her back in cantonese and that shut her up and i laughed at her for taking the wrong bus for she going to Chinatown but the bus is on the way to toa payoh.

Anyway taking public transport in singapore is very stressful, which the reason why many shut their eyes once they are seated as they "no eye see". As for giving up seat to preganet ladies or elderly, i dont think there a need. PPl also pay their fare so if they dont give up their seats, it their rights. Furthermore many of "big stomach" ladies think u own them a seat that they dont even say thank you. Which was what happen to me many a time, just lan lan loh.

If I were you, I would have waited until the bus was almost at Toa Payoh before telling and laughting at her.
I wouldn't berate someone for not giving up his or her seat to a pregnant woman. If the woman wanted to get pregnant, she and her husband ought to make their own transport arrangements. Or she can take the bus and run the risk of not having a seat. Or if she must take the bus and must have a seat, then don't get pregnant.
But I would berate a person for occupying 2 seats and not allowing someone to occupy the other seat, whether the person is old, pregnant or even a teenager.

OMG. She's Pregnant and you still didn't give up your seat to her. Don't be petty about whether she thanked you or not. One needn't be thanked for every good deed done bro. :)

Miss bunny,

u misunderstood, i ok with ppl who dont give up seat to "big stomach" women but i do give up my seat whenever there a need.;)

again i just giving my opinion on the "rudeness" on the part of the "big stomach" women. It not as if i will demand my seat my unless she say "thank you."

And also being pregnant do not mean can have right of way. Want a seat, plan the journey properly, as there are many ways to set a seat in peak hours too.
