Major-General Chan was awarded the SAF Overseas Scholarship and President's Scholarship in 1988, a year after he joined the service, and previously held the position of Chief Infantry Officer within the Army.

His alma mater include Raffles Junior College, the University of Cambridge, Christ's College, Cambridge and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Cambridge and MIT produce this type standard???

Funny one of my colleague also said the same thing like the "10 steps ahead" thing. Somehow her support to the PAP mainly for personal welfare reason, can get a better job, eng eng qing qing. Too bad she is much lower ranking than me in office. At least we know PAP cannot survive in true private organization.

MIW has many lucrative jobs for their heavyweight losers. Think PSA, SIA, ST etc. His pay won't suffer. They will pay him the same as last drawn. That's the reward for loyalty and obedience. Same as how you would reward your doggie pet with a bone!
