Did we get taught incorrect/inaccurate Chinese stories at school?

i remember Hao Gong Ming and all the Chinese textbooks always containing stories about kindness, filial piety, morals etc etc about Chinese characters, Gods etc....so i always thought the Chinese from China were of gentlemanly and ladylike character. Instead, the PRC Fts and PRC in foreign countries behave the entire opposite.

Were those stories inaccurate?

These are ancient stories to instill moral ideals. What people of the day do can be entirely different.

Simplifying the chinese characters so that peasants can pick up the literacy of the language is a total insult to the academians of ancient time. What you see total have proven to be a total failure when the supposed literate PRC all behaves like dogs!

My fren told me that his aunt went to a market in Shanghai where an old lady was knocked down by a car but did not die, the people around her took her stuff and walked away, nobody helped her up.

the Nationalist government also decided to simplify the Chinese characters but the implementation of it was halted by the Sino-Japanese war. the Nationalist and Communist both concluded that simplifying the Chinese characters were the best and easiest way to increase the literacy rate in China ( more than 90% Chinese were illiterate prior 1949 ).

no much different here.
poor ones are dying because they have no money for medication , surgery. nobody is helping all just talk and talk.

when the average joe and plain jane have to use all their saving for medical treatment , no one is helping too.
at the end , they die not from illness but from the payment.

i know the correct history - like one mighty man built up sinkieland from a piece of swamp ,etc etc.

they are all accurately documented in a collection of books - with titled like "the hardly truth to keep sinkie going."

People eagerly anticipate it and get tickets to watch it.
