They trying to outsource back the crime fighting element back to us citizens or what.

yep i agree it is entertaining...but lets be fair...if one of those hiding in there is your brother, sister or relatives, i still hope you find it entertaining! At this point, I don't care whether they should fire or not.
All I know is that they hid in the ambulance like cowards, and the embarrassing scene is caught on video. That's entertaining.
And the next time some spin doctor or CrimeWatch praises the poodles for 'bravery' or 'heroism'... we know better.
So in the event of riot, who is first line?
If Police is allowed to run, then is the Army allowed to run also?
Will they run too?
ok even if you are rite from the blurred video that they are police and indeed carrying service revolvers,,,and You are one of them facing this uncontrollable mob...WOULD YOU OPEN FIRE?

The mata kias went to report sick in the ambulance !
In a uniformed group, you hold your post until you are relieved...... there is no room for running away to fight another day.....
Running away without orders is cowardice.......
If you guys wanna relate to army...I asked you..if your section doing a patrol is outnumbered by enemy forces and come under intense fire...you radioed OC for additional support and the fucking additional fire support take forever long to arrive and the enemy is coming closer...what do you do? Dig in and die or Run?
In all such situations, every minute of delay counts....thats my view...
The riot police should be FUCKEd for the delay...not the frontline policemen.

Dont be a clown steffychun..thats all i say.The Singapore Police Force wrote on their facebook page :
"Police would like to clarify certain rumours that have been circulating online.
"Facts:
"Police officers displayed maximum restraint and did not fire any weapon throughout the incident. This also prevented the incident from escalating further."
So running away is "displaying max restraint" ?
