Dear samsters, list your most depressing 没有人气 HDB towns.

Cannot compare with Ramesh,he stay at private condo, different class.

Condo dwellers cannot compare to those who stay at huge mansions: Ridout Road, Queen Astrid Park, Chancery Lane, Bishopsgate etc.

BMC is the only town that hasn't changed much over the past 4 decades. I had many memorable moments there during my schooldays with a few chiobus. Even the interchange looks the same.
Feel nostalgic yet bro?

In the 80s, there used to be two private schools there above the KFC. On the 3rd floor was BMC Commercial School, and on the 5th floor, Clifford Centre. The secretarial courses at these schools had many chiobus. That's why we liked to hang around there after school to check them out.

too many 69 year olds and above stay in bukit merah. it’s a tomb town where elderly sinkies are left to die alone in their flats. literally uplorry to kee suah. bukit mati.

Those chiobus will be elevated to senior citizens status soon just like us.

That area north of Golden Mile and south of the ICA building is also quite ghetto. Crawford Lane or thereabouts.
I know Jellicoe Road. I used to work in key point beach road and drove to work and parked at jellicoe as the parking at beach road is very expensive.

Limpeh start the ball rolling.
I'm at Bukit Merah Central and it had lost that "Central" vibe for a long time.... 所有人都死了吗?Is this the only "Central" that isn't near any MRT station ?

Used to be bustling with activities but everything change when HDB HQ moved to Toa Payoh. Now even the library closed down.

Yah. Just found out today when walking past it. That place looks jinxed.

I was from Henderson secondary nearby during the early 80s. Stepping into the place is like traveling back to time. The bus interchange is depressingly empty and quiet.
I remember there was a big IT desktop manufacturing local company somewhere near there. The boss was a woman. Business was very good then suddenly closed shop.
Forgot the name something like Primefield ?

That name rings a bell. Is the lady boss a MILF? Florence Chew or something like that.
