Reminder that a lot of the Tiong restaurants here, especially the imported pre-packed mala spices, are not totally safe.

When I was in Guilin years ago, I went to a nearby restaurant for my meals. I noticed the Tiongs were very generous with rice. The portion for 1 is more than enough to feed 2. But the quality is lousy. Years later I went to Shanghai, and I patronized a restaurant called 避风塘. This time the quality is damn good.
