Were they mistreated or tortured in any way while serving their term in office? Were they under-paid? Were they forced to work under inhumane conditions? Compared to normal citizens who struggled to make ends meet, I cannot understand why was there a need to drop a single tear. I must say Singaporeans have been very kind for so many years.
