I am sure that there are people in Sweden who got the vaccines. Any reports saying that group of vaccinated are having more covid cases and deaths?

I'm just looking at the trends and it does look like cases shoot up in highly vaccinated populations. However it could be because everyone has let their guard down because they feel protected.

Vaccines seem to be making things a lot worse in many countries. I wonder why.
not sillycon valley. transport, storage, and application of mrna vaccines are done meticulously with focus and zero tolerance on temperature deviance, spoilage, duration of vials and syringes out in the open, sexpiry dates, handling, and use. i suspect there’s mishandling and improper storage of vials in sg and other cuntries with less sexperienced and more 3rd world imported medical workers, especially nurses or assistants involved in vaccinations. all it takes is one 69-iq logistics worker leaving boxes of mrna vaccines sitting out under the sg sun and heat on a hand truck for 69 minutes while waiting for door to open with slumbering and slothful receiving personnel doing the paperwork like watching paint dry. sg can be 1st world but is afterall run at the lowest levels by 3rd world coolies and peasants. lowest denominator determines the fate of millions. such irony.

That's what used to happen to our semiconductor products that required temp control. They arrived absolutely useless.

Quick question.

In Canada they report how many doses were distributed. And how many were given. There have also been reports that many doses were thrown away. Once thawed cannot be used anymore.

Has Singapore reported what their waste rate was like with the vaccines? How many thrown out?

Not a single mention of temp control measures and outcomes at all.

If the logistics are being done correctly every single shipment should be accompanied by a continuous temp control monitor.

https://www.madgetech.com/posts/pre...-monitoring-puts-madgetech-on-the-frontlines/

Once it shows that the temperature went beyond the acceptable range the affected product should be discarded.

since i deal intimately with warehousing and logistics in sg, i’m very close to the realities. i’ve seen crates and pallets of wine sitting out in the open under humidity and heat for hours with no supervisor ensuring quick transfer to a refrigerated warehouse. even wine sitting for days if not weeks in unpowered and unrefrigerated containers at the dock or port warehouse is a no no. no wonder wine in sg tastes funny.

My best mate used to work for SATS in a logistics role. His horror stories made me scared shitless of transporting my dogs when I emigrated.

I am 100% sure that that many people have had dud vaccines injected into them. The question is what proportion do they represent.

Vaccination saline error: Parties demand transparency from government

3:27 pm on 25 August 2021

The government must explain to New Zealanders what it knows, what it doesn't, and what it will do after people were potentially given saline instead of a vaccine, opposition parties say.

RNZ understands an investigation has begun after staff at the Highbrook vaccination centre last month realised there was an extra vial left over at the end of a day of 732 vaccinations.

It indicates people may have been given saline - a salt water solution - instead.

Vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris, a member of the government's Covid-19 immunisation implementation advisory group, this morning explained to RNZ the mistake would have happened during the process of readying the vaccine for use.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the vaccine stock did not match the number of doses administered, but has not yet detailed the exact date this happened.
People who went for inoculation at the Highbrook vaccination centre told RNZ they were worried, felt vulnerable and were unhappy the ministry had not proactively made efforts to contact people.

National's Covid-19 Response spokesperson Chris Bishop said it was concerning the vaccination centre had not figured out who may have missed out on the vaccine.

"It's critical that we figure out as soon as possible who these people are ... and make sure they get vaccinated because the last thing we want is people thinking they're vaccinated, walking around, when they're actually not."

He said he hoped it had not happened elsewhere, and more transparency from the ministry and the government was needed.

"Be up front with the public around whether it's happened in other parts of the country and indeed in Auckland as well."

That it had taken about a month for the information to be made public was also concerning, he said.

"We'll be asking questions today through select committee and potentially when Parliament comes back about how exactly this happened in the first place and what's being done to make sure it doesn't happen again.

"It's absolutely imperative that as we roll out the vaccine and people get the right dose and they get the record that they've had the dose, and that those records are stored securely."

"We need to figure out exactly what's happened and make sure it doesn't happen again."

ACT leader David Seymour said the government needed to come clean and explain to New Zealanders what it knew and what it did not.

"New Zealanders know that the situation is hard, all we want is openness and transparency from our government," he said.

"If the government doesn't have good data on ... which people were given saline solution then that's a real disappointment, but New Zealanders would be much more forgiving if they just fess up, tell us what went wrong and what they're doing about it rather than the whiff of a coverup which undermines everybody's confidence in this critical vaccine rollout."

The government needed to explain what it would do about the problem.

"Terribly disheartening for those people who may have waited some time to get vaccinated, now aren't sure whether they actually were.

"Everybody who was vaccinated at that site is now a potential candidate ... it may be that they need to revaccinate people who were vaccinated on that day.
He also said the government needed to come clean if there were other instances of this kind of mistake.

"We have to take them at their word that this is a one-off. If there are other instances that they are investigating then of course they should be transparent about that. It's critical that New Zealanders have confidence in the vaccine rollout because slow as it may have been it is still our best hope of getting our way of life back without endless lockdowns."

"People have a right to know because confidence in the vaccine rollout is critical to New Zealand success in getting on top of Covid."

National director for the Covid-19 vaccination and immunisation programme Jo Gibbs said contact would be made once the circumstances of the incident were fully understood, so people could be given appropriate advice.

The Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' Rights gives all consumers the right of open communication with a provider.

Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins on Wednesday afternoon said the possible vaccine botch-up in Auckland was regrettable.

Hipkins told Parliament's Health select committee it was impossible to know if it was a data error or if there is a real risk for the five people.

The delay in telling people who were vaccinated at the Highbook vaccination centre about the possible mistake was also regrettable, he said.

Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield said officials had been waiting to hear back from experts before deciding whether the group should be offered another jab.

I dont understand why they cannot trace it to the LOT#?

Every patient given the vaccine should have the LOT# written on their record. Match that LOT# to the offending vial's LOT# and you narrow it down to a few.

The entire centre?

That means they DID NOT record individual LOT#? Or all the vaccines had the same LOT#? Maybe the LOT# is the same for a few hundred or thousands of vials?

Probably from the same lot.

On the whole, the general population are still kiasee and wear their masks dutifully, except for short periods when eating and/or drinking.
and Sinkies have this tendency to talk for long period of time during meals.

This chatting over meals habit is more pronounced in folks over 40, as they grew up largely in the era before internet. Those under 40 tend to text over their devices more effectively, even those young dating couples text over the dinner table at times.

On buses and MRT, you do observe some folks pull down their masks to repeat some sentences or phrases occasionally during phone calls. That could be one of the reasons I guess.

Then we talk about our brothers who like to play chess under the void decks, or those who like to drink beer... It’s a whole different league altogether. Mask off almost all the time, chit chat chit chat, the beer lady is like a bee pollinating different flowers as it visits each table...

Masks don't make any difference so you can discount any of the mask factors.

Mask does give psychological benefits to make people feel safer which is important from a mental health perspective.

Always always do NOT forget the mental health perspective.

This is where it is often forgotten in medicine especially the Specialists.

But for us family doctor we always keep in mind the whole patient mental health included.

I would feel a huge improvement in my mental health if I had a course of ivermectin on standby in case I catch Covid.

see? there is the psychological aspect.

I was thinking of giving you placebo labeled as Ivermectin but then that would be outright deception and wrong ethically and I will be censured for doing it even if it helped your mental health very much. So that's out of the question. As for real Ivermectin the medical authorities have said very clearly they deem it causes more harm than good and does not work. They have spoken.

I am just a foot soldier.

Are those the same medical authorities that approved Vioxx for use as a pain killer?

In September 2004, Merck voluntarily withdrew rofecoxib from the market because of concerns about increased risk of heart attack and stroke associated with long-term, high-dosage use. Merck withdrew the drug after disclosures that it withheld information about rofecoxib's risks from doctors and patients for over five years, allegedly resulting in between 88,000 and 140,000 cases of serious heart disease.[3] Rofecoxib was one of the most widely used drugs ever to be withdrawn from the market. In the year before withdrawal, Merck had sales revenue of US$2.5 billion from Vioxx.[4]

That is not the issue. The crux of the matter is that drug companies cannot be trusted and medical authorities simply accept the garbage they are fed for obvious reasons.
