Not much of a problem in the 80s' but now it is increasing; so must be due to the influx of foreiginers and not true blue Singaporeans.

I think it is due to the influx of (foreign) MAIDS! Too many true blue Singaporeans have maids these days.

NS used to be the last bastion where boys were taught to be independent. These days they just leave the plates and eating utensils in the basin and the uncles/aunties wash up after them... just like home where Maria or Mina clean up after them. SG girls no need to say...

People like Foo progress materially but not socially. But I see this kind of behaviour getting more common in Singapore... as opposed to better education we are supposed to be getting!
