I’m wondering whether is it normal for couples to sleep separately? My friends all have no problems with sleeping with their partner on the same bed, but my bf isn’t able to fall sleep together with me. We’ve been together for 2 years but until now he still has trouble trying to fall sleep whenever we’re sharing the same bed. He claimed that he’s a very light sleeper that gets disrupted easily by movement, light, and sound, so if he sleeps with me, he can’t go into sleep whenever I move or turn around. So whenever we stay over at each other’s place, he would either sleep on the couch or on a mattress on the floor.

Even when we go for staycations, we have to get 2 separate beds, or else he wouldn’t be able to sleep. He also tried to sleep with me several times, but he just simply can’t have a proper sleep, and would wake up several times throughout the night. I feel bad for making him sleep next to me, but I just feel that it’s something that couples should do together. What if we are married and he still insists to sleep separately? Is this a normal situation for couples? My exes never experience such issue with me too.

Why not? Maybe the CB is smelly or the guy is snoring. Some girls also like to hog the blanket, or kick you while they are dreaming.

Maybe they should sleep in the 69 position. Perhaps her cheebye smell has an intoxicating effect on him and keep him from waking up.

In that case, guy probably a closet gay. Or just doesn't realise he is one.
Smell of opposite sex is revulsive to them.

I think the truth will come to light after looking at the CB's face and body.

Everybody here just assumed that she is chio. Sometimes, even @syed putra will reject. Maybe the boyfriend does not subscribe to the "can eat don't waste" mantra.

Extremely light sleeper means very insecure.

Hence usually very sensitive & jealous too.

He can smell the ex boyfriends sperms from her pores, sleeping with her is overnight with a prostitute.

My ex likes to roll. Never manage to get a good night sleep in the first 6 months of the relationship. Because morning Wood means piak piak.

But after 6 months. It can be quite disturbing to be awaken by her rolling.
