From the reports from the presstitutes so far, it would seem that changes in the training curriculum are needed more than laws which enable body searches.

The men on the ground claim they were trained for milder assignments, not riots.

From the looks of it, terrorists seem to be the focus of their training.

But how can this be, when Mas Salamat could hobble away.

But the mad Malaysian school teacher showed how easy it would be for potential terrorists to wander along the streets of Singapore for three days in a red car without being caught. Not to mention that she came face to face with policemen in a police station who let her go.

Everyone from the Big Nose DPM to the men in blue talk about resource management. With fancy words like these one would at least expect everyone to be RESOURCEful!

Can we depend on the Police to protect us? After this few days of COI hearing,I am shocked to find out even men in blue can claimed that they are not trained for such incident.

Trained or untrained is not the key issue. The key issue is whether the ground commander has the courage to decide on doing something instead of doing nothing. That, no training can equip you.

Our cops are maybe robotic cops, huh, depending on instructions pressed from the top.
Even the Police Commissioner also wait for instructions from Home Minister, yes?

Seriously, it is time after COI to revamp the whole SPF from the top down to restore public confidence. No use to take small man to task. Sack the top down and all will wake up instead of taking things for granted in their ivory tower.
