On 2nd thoughts, I like to look at this from another angle......LBW (with all her talents) is probably a spy planted by the opposition into the PAP ranks.....and todate, with her successful impressive idiotic words and actions , has been very successful in causing great damage to herself, table tennis (and sports in general in Singapore) , and the PAP.

Sure? SG and perhaps a few other countries have been doing this for sometime. We've got competition from other countries importing, plus China setting rules in preventing the outflow of their talents.... plus maybe our current team seeking more lucrative offers elsewhere, be it monetary or psychologically...

Point is, the effort SG has put in to lure the team over might not necessarily achieve the same yield as the 2008 olympics if repeated again.
