CNB seizes S$428,000 worth of heroin

SINGAPORE: Officers from the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) on Thursday made the largest haul of heroine this year.

The two suspects, a 23-year-old Malaysian and a 36-year-old Singaporean, were arrested at around 7am at Woodlands.

About four kilograms of the drug were seized, estimated to be worth more than S$428,000.

Both men are being investigated for drug trafficking.

If convicted, they may face the death penalty. - CNA/gn

These two mules should be handled with proper care and from them the CNB should find the real "king-pins" behind that contraband brought in by them.

The CNB should get the bosses just like what is happening in Bogota, Colombia where the authorities sell of the confiscated properties and assets of the real culprits and use the money to support drug-addicts undergoing rehabilitation.
