The so called climate change agenda is anything but saving the earth. It's a huge industry with potential spanning trillions of dollars in businesses and investments. It might have started off as a call for genuine change by scientific professionals, but it has long become a lucrative money churner. That's why you don't see much coverage on the Science or scientists involved, all the attention is on politicians, NGOs, multinational CEOs and big shot financial investors.
Just off the top of my head, I can already see so many business and investment deals happening in so many industries on the pretext of climate change and I'm pretty sure I've only scratched the surface:
1) Renewable energy (Generation, Storage, Transmission)
2) Electric vehicle
3) Carbon trading
4) Sustainability financial products
5) ESG consultancy
6) Green Agritech solutions
7) All the different green standards for trains, planes, ships etc.
8) Water management
9) Eco-tourism
10) Construction
It's all about business. The only idiots who believe the COP26 has anything to do with saving the earth are the same morons who do idiotic juvenile things like using metal straws, bringing reusable bags, eating organic foods or paying extra electricity bills to buy solar power.
