My friend kenna summon by a PRC CISCO parking warden last week. He say the parking warden very KL "Kwai Lan" and my friend will complain against the PRC.

I wonder if PRC CISCO officer will be allowed to carry gun? If they can then this is really screwed and illogical.

NOTE: If the PRC employee performance is good, they may even be offered a scholarship for diploma in Singapore, FOR FREE!

Nothing such as a scholarship for our locals though:

Salary package up to $1.6k. That mean max included benefit. More like basic salary $1k~$1.2k.
Do u think SG want to work for $1k.

Wau lau chow ah tiong taking more of our jobs :(

The thing is, people are already angry that Ah Tiongs are taking up service jobs and pushing down the wages. With them doing enforcement duties, this will create even more unhappiness toward the Ah Tiongs. Especially when we know Ah Tiong are Kwai Lan when they are in the position to punish.

It is just a matter of time that the unhappiness explodes if they keep on pushing it and shoving these Ah Tiong in our face. Not every kind of job can be replaced by foreigners...

STOMPer Jackie was furious that a foreign parking attendant issued him with a summons despite him leaving a note saying he was buying coupons as he ran out of them.

"You may think that this is a usual thing you get from Singapore stompers but I find that the recent crops of Certis URA parking attendants are from China and they are particularly overzealous to the point that with signs and hazard lights on stating that driver is going to purchase parking coupons at a nearby 7-11 is ignored.

"Parking coupons were issued even when there are already parking coupons displayed (although short by 5-10mins as I ran out of them).

"Once I came back to the car, a summon was already issued and I took it to the attendants, asking why they issued even though I displayed coupons and a note saying that I was buying coupons.

"They just shrugged. Even when I appealed to URA Online Appeals I got the standard same answer that they rejected my appeal. The only place that I could get coupons was a street away, at a 7-11 at McCallum St.

"This is really an unfair practice by Certis and URA. This happened at Amoy St area where people are actually going to work and contributing to the society. If efficiency is issuing fines and tickets every 15mins then that is not something we should be looking at. Efficiency means trains should be running and not breaking down every other week. Get the priorities straight."

unfortunately to the non-mandarin speaking motrists,..these China-origin parking attendings simply behave machine-like,...i.e. "see no coupon, issue summon,..move on to another",..these parking attendents behave like farm-harvesting machines,.....totally adds to the deteriorating quality of life, here in Sink-ga-pore,..

Many PRC are working 12 hours/6-days week, a total of 60 hours after deduction 2 hours for 2 meal-break for $1800 or less.

Recently, I was offer a retail job. 13-hour per day for 5-day-week including working on Sunday and PH. Basic salary $900 plus others uncertain incentives. Overtime is expected and will not be paid. I rejected it. It will not be a surprised it the company decide to employ a FT.

What happen to the Employment Act which stated a 45-working-hour per week and if exceed the 45-hour-week, overtime are paid?

Now you understand why many Singaporean refuse such long-hour under-paid job. Even if they do accept it, it will be a short term. And I know a number of Singaporean who accept such under-paid job but grit their teeth when working. Moreover, they are ex-retrenched PMET.

The higher it goes the lesser responsiblities they willing to take, they prefer you to appear
in Court and let the Judge take the responsibility to say you guilty or not, this is what's
happening in all Gahman Ministries.
