The one in video is harassing police,, defying orders or crowd control to move away, picking quarrels with police and insulting police. Enough to shot / arrested / charged. They are helping rioters to waste police resources and time. Hampering police duties. Police only need to issue warning before shooting at so call reporters who defy control orders and challenge police at riot sites. No need to fear their status nor cameras.

Can issue very strict stern warnings at press conference. Shoot, Arrest, Charge, Deport, and prevent future entries. Make them know that Press Pass can be REVOKED INSTANTLY AT SIGHT followed by ARREST. If they resisted arrest, shot them down and leave them there half dead, and care only to pursue rioters. No ambulance, leave them there dying on the ground alike what happened to Japs photographer @Leongsam 's Myanmar monk marching.

Show a clear disrespect against Western Human Right values. Punish them painfully for that.

if getting involved should be locked up and deported because they are no longer neutral and just reporting, they automatically lose journalistic privilege. I think any journalist that value their rice bowl will not do that. Would be a dumb journalist with no future.

if CIA agent getting involved throwing bricks lagi worse. CIA will disavow and leave them to rot.

And certainly if the HK government wishes to, can imprison them or even shoot them, but the repercussions will be stiff. Nothing stopping Singapore from opening fire in little India too except the repercussions.

But I still think that those guys are just your regular chow kaypoh ang moh and nothing as interesting as CIA or even journalists. But on the other hand, maybe got 1 or 2 who am I to be sure?
