A 72-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital after getting hit by a car while crossing the road in Serangoon on Saturday night (Feb 23).
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Serangoon Avenue 2 and Upper Serangoon Road at 8.11pm.
The male pedestrian was conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, the car had been making a turn into Upper Serangoon Road when it hit the elderly man, who was crossing the road.
A witness, 34-year-old Mr Ye, said the man was sent flying almost two metres from the impact.
The driver appeared anxious when he exited from his car to check on the victim, added Mr Ye.
Police investigations are ongoing.
