The Bagua Mirror is a protective tool used in Feng Shui to deflect and diffuse negative energy (also known as Sha Qi). It consists of a mirror, surrounded by eight trigrams (see diagram opposite). Examples of common Sha Qi found in homes can include;

•A large building or corners of a building
•Power lines
•A T-intersection where the road points at the home.
•Ugly scenery.
•Incorrectly positioned trees.
•An offending pole or any sort of tower.
• A roof line edge or any other kind of building or structure facing your front door.
•An escalator pointing towards your business.
•Infrastructures or landscapes in front of your home or business front door.
•An electrical transformer opposite your home.
•A cemetery, mortuary or undertakers opposite your home.
•A situation where vandals or trespassers frequent your home or business.
•Your desk is at the end of a long hallway, or you sit with your back to the entrance. This is the rare instance where a bagua mirror is placed on the inside of a building - on the wall you are facing so that the energy

Yes every powerful Bagua Map . Imagine

6 million people each carrying a Bagua Map ( S$1 coin )

in his or her pocket ...:D:D:D

What a stupid excuse to use octagon shape on a car for luck.

FYI there are numerous other shapes on the car that will bring bad luck.

Sorry excuse to explain just pure luck, this Fengshui thing. Another $$ making scam.:D

The bagua S$1 is just bagua gossip urban legend. Real bagua is wuxing bagua from I-ching. Five elements and eight directions. That's the one used in fengshui if the fengshui master is worth his dime. There's nothing religious or superstitious about it. It's just about harmony with environment so that the person in the environment feel good at his best, and naturally will be more energetic, productive and happy. There's no such thing as striking lottery with it.

Thanks . Well said :

... "about harmony with environment"

The other extreme of anti-fengshui for a person is the criminal punishment of imprisonment. Four walls and iron bars will set a person's spirit right down to the bottom pit. This isn't peculiarly Chinese, it's universal. Western or oriental from ancient times, all know that short of capital or corporal punishment, imprisonment works best. It's not about the restriction of movement alone, it's also about the environment of imprisonment.

the real reason for those four walls cube room is to save space ... to put in more inmates with limited space . iron bar is to cut cost , to allow air air ventilation and to prevent inmates from escaping ...same as cages for animals ...

how can a bagua helps to create harmony in the suround environment ? ;)

I dont believe in Destiny or God has a hand in your way of life other then your birth and Maybe your death(Im Agnostic, No religion but Believe in God) But I believe in Energy.. My version of Energy is the Surrounding you work/live in(Good and Bad vides) So for an instance I believe being around people with Positive energy will give you Positive energy and negative energy being around People who give out bad Energy.(In turn this good/bad energy will turn Your life either positively/negatively) Feng-shui is a step higher i guess where you use Furnitor and Positioning of Items/Building to grab that energy. No one wants to be facing a Cemetery cos it will give a shitty feeling thus giving bad vides or Facing water gives you a Relaxing feeling thus Good vides. This is my idea of it.. What you think, Does it make sense?

no one want to face a cemetery because thousands years ago ..ppl have been brain washed that cemetery is not a " lucky " place to be ...and this stupid theory have been passed down from generations to generations ..

dude , analyzing ba-zi cannot change your destiny. your action and deeds ( what you do , speak and think ) will influence your destiny. :D

born in same year, month , day , and time , one live in africa , one live in singapore , their destiny will be different.
the so called " experts" said the location (geographical) , weather also play a significant role. ok , this one is logical and can accept.
but what about those born in the same time , in the same hospital ? the "experts" said the parents also got play a part.
then how about twin ? do twin have the same destiny ?
knn.

the next time ...someone going to come out with DNA reading ;)

Harmony of the five elements and eight directions surrounding you, to make you feel fresh and energised everyday you see your environment. Japanese do that too, though they don't call it bagua. The Japanese landscape gardens and ponds and fake molehills landscaped to be at the front of their gates, I'm sure you know. The colours and locations of the rocks, leaves and fish, I'm sure you know too. What are they for? To be pleasing to human eyes, and pleasing human eyes energise human minds. It has nothing to do with superstition, religion or striking lottery.

japanese gardens (日本庭園, nihon teien ) is created for the best of nature's handiwork in a limited space , evoking rural simplicity the word simplicity oftern appear in japanese culture ) . in japanese culture, garden making is a high art, intimately related to the linked arts of calligraphy and ink painting. and not to gain energetic or productive as what you have mention . karesansui gardens (枯山水) or "dry landscape” gardens were influenced mainly by zen buddhism and can be found at zen temples of meditation . unlike other traditional gardens, there is no water present in karesansui gardens. however, there is raked gravel or sand that simulates the feeling of water . the rocks or gravel used are chosen for their artistic shapes, and mosses as well as small shrubs are used to further garnish the Karesansui style (Japanese Lifestyle). all in all, the rocks and moss are used to represent ponds, islands, boats, seas, rivers, and mountains in an abstract way ...in other words...its just an ART . ;)

Art it is, absolutely agree. Nothing to do with superstition or religion. Without nature, there's no environment. Without environment there's no art. What's art? It simply means ARTificial. Why is it needed? Because human beings can think beyond the need of eating to survive beyond the need of eating and improve their their lives beyond eat, shit, fuck and die.

Sending My Early Warmest and Best Wishes To

our former MM LEE ( birthday on 16 Sept , next friday )

What I heard is just the opposite but it has nothing to do with feng shui. Why some people said Bishan is a good fengshui place , it used to be a cemetery ground. The old belief is that when a person died, he/she cannot carry anything across to next world including wealth , so a cemetery is actually a good place as wealth is left behind.

Many years back I was extremely interested in feng shui / bazi / ziweidoushu . It was during one of the 'research' moment that I stumble on self interpretation of ziweidoushu . From it, it said that I will be living a place near 'institution related to health' . I was quite certain I won't want any place near to institution of health. A few years later I read on paper, the hospital in the west is going to be build in front of my place. IS that coincidence . I am not sure.

What Is Ba Zi (八字) ?

“一命,二运,三风水,四道德,五读书”, literally means Destiny, Luck, Feng Shui, Moral Cultivation and Hard Work, is a common Chinese saying, which encompasses the 5 factors that can significantly influence the quality of life that one can enjoy and the success that one can achieve.

Based on one’s date and time of birth, the Eight Characters, commonly known as Ba Zi (八字), can be plotted. The Ba Zi is analysed by studying the interaction of the cosmic energies of the Five Elements (五行). From Ba Zi, one’s destiny and luck cycle become evident.

Why do we need to analyse our Destiny and Luck Cycle?

“天有不撤风云,人有旦夕祸福”,means that one’s fortunes can be unfathomable and unpredictable like the ever-changing weather. We shall be prepared when the storm is coming. That’s precisely the reason why we need to have our destinies and luck cycles analysed. Unveiling your destiny and luck cycle is like having a road map or street directory in hand. With this life map, one can anticipate the dangers or opportunities ahead and the likelihood of making detours is lower. One will be more aware of one’s personality and character. Destiny and Luck Cycle analyses are often used to understand wealth opportunities, career achievements, health and relationship issues.

Ba Zi Practitioners Bros can share MM Lee's Ba Zi ???
