Set up a curfew to stop any illegal gathering of Cantonese in HK airport!

The emergency power regulations mainly called for the imposition of the death penalty upon those found in unauthorised possession of arms, ammunition or explosives. Additionally, it gave the police special powers in matters such as arrest; detention; exclusion from certain areas; assembly of persons; imposition of curfews; search of persons and premises; closure of roads, paths and waterways; requisition of buildings, vehicles and boats as well as seizure of seditious documents and articles that could be used as offensive weapons. The emergency was extended to the whole of Perak and Johor on 17 June 1948 and was proclaimed throughout the entire Federation of Malaya on 18 June 1948. On 24 June 1948, a state of emergency was enforced in the Colony of Singapore as well.18

I am sure Hong Kong Cantonese will have no disagreement to these good old British methods used in Malaya and Singapore back then.

China and HK governments where are you? Listen to my good suggestion to follow history ok? Follow the wise old British - that HK Cantonese love - to impose State of emergency imposing curfews etc.

They should close the mrt stations at places where there are riots. Stop rioters from moving from one place to the next.
In malaya's fight against communist, they eventually built new villages and place chinese living in the vicinity under house arrest. Not able to move out from fenced up new villagers after dark. Stop them from giving food to insurgents.

Nah... at this age of digital tech better to impose radio silence law first.

Cut off all personal transceiver devices the mobile phones will be most effective law today.
