I can understand why CTP was detained in the sixties. He might well have been a threat to the stability of the nation, though it must be said we still do not know because we are living in the gospel according to the PAPzis.
I can even accept that LKY made a political decision to remove a threat to himself - you've got to allow a man to muster all available resources to stay alive politically.
But what infuriates me is that the PAPzis continued to hold him (probably out of spite) long after he had ceased to be of an threat to the nation or even the PAPzis themselves. Had impunity simply become a hardwired habit?
Even worse was the fact that Singaporeans (including me) allowed this to go on unchallenged. Is apathy now the people's creed?
