Sun Xueling
Sun graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics and completed her Master of Science in International Political Economy with Merit from the London School of Economics and Political Science Sun started her career at the Economic Development Board in 2003 before joining DBS Bank Ltd as an Assistant Vice-President. She had also spent a large part of her career in Hong Kong and China (2007-2014), where she was a Director with Deutsche Bank AG. Sun was director of the Investment Group of Temasek International, focusing on investment opportunities in developing markets such as China and Latin America prior to joining politics in September 2015.
Tan Chen Chen
Chen Chen graduated from Singapore Polytechnic in 2004 and joined a quantity surveying firm as an assistant quantity surveyor. She was promoted to quantity surveyor in 2007. She joined her current company as an associate contract administrator in 2007. In 2009, she graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management. She is currently a contract administrator working on energy and chemical projects. Chen Chen may not have been a top student but she is willing to work hard and against the odds for what she wants.
