Chee Soon Juan must now find another GRC/SMC to contest as Bukit Batok disappears from the electoral boundaries as a result of Pappies gerrymandering

They see him as a real threat and are not taking any chances.
Gerrymandering establishes a political advantage for the incumbent by influencing electoral boundaries to create partisan advantaged districts. Such electoral engineering appears to hand the ruling party the upper hand at the elections.

Look like Bukit Panjang SMC is the only hope for the SDP to win a seat
The PAP candidate Liang Eng Hwa narrowly defeated his SDP opponent Paul Tambyah to win Bukit Panjang SMC 5 years ago. Liang, who lacks the impressive credentials of Prof Tambyah, won 53.74% of the votes, with the good doctor garnering 46.26% as residents voted for the party rather than their off-colour candidate.

case of keeping your (real) intentions a secret until boundaries are drawn and not blow it early with a loudspeaker before shit is shat.

After so many years still lost to a minority race PAP! How the fuck is he going to win?

No one in their right mind should vote for a govt which implements a carbon tax, pushes the 'safe and effective' fairy tale, and promotes the eating of bugs.

Similarly if you put a real dog to contest as smc in a hard core oppies ward, the real dog will still get voted in.
Else I chop.

Morale of the story is in an erection, is not the candidate that matters.
It is the ter nao voters.
Csj is wasting his time.

How about getting acquainted with the folks at Clementi now?

PSP goes for West Coast-Jurong West.

Chee goes for Jurong East-Bukit Batok, which inexplicably contains a large chunk of Clementi.
