Tiongs PLPs have been saying that about anything Chinese for the longest time. Till now haven’t happened with any of it. I doubt it’ll happen soon.

Somehow it’s a culture thing…..by culture in mean decades of CCP indoctrination culture and not Chinese culture. If going by history Chinese culture in ancient times was pretty awesome

I think you belittle the skill of reverse engineering.
Americans reverse engineer all German tech and improve on them.
In history of science and tech , there is no one who did a single giant leap to completely new technology.
Reverse engineering requires a lot engineering expertise to understand the technology and to adapt them to your own supply chain.
If copying so easy, why India still cannot copy chip manufacturing? Why they cannot copy EV from tesla? Or copy DJI drones ? Or make Unitree robot dogs ? All these can be "copied"
Because you need expertise talent and some countries just cannot.
