SINGAPORE - The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) said on Thursday (Oct 3) that it will take enforcement action against a New Upper Changi Road hawker stall after a worm-like bug was found in one of the stall's dishes.

Mr Bhavesh Gumani, an IT specialist, told The Straits Times he was having dinner with his wife at a food stall at the Block 208B New Upper Changi Road hawker centre last Tuesday when he discovered an insect in his basil chicken dish.

Based on a photo of the bug, it had an elongated body and small legs.

personally I think this is not possible.
The insect could be from the ceiling

Don't say CECA, if I see this type of worm, I also complain ah. Nabei

I think this is vege worm.
Some vegetables worms hide inside the vegetable.

Ah Neh FT complaining, don't play play. Ah Neh now very power in sinkeeland .
kind advice : when u go india better bring your own water tablets and drink only bottled mineral water.

Complain to NTUC Foodfare. It manages that hawker centre.

That Ah Neh has probably eaten worse contaminants in his cooked food in India. Why complain here?

He should be deported back to India.
He was being hitchhiked by that hairy thing, due to his smell and than accidentially carried onto the dish he was about to eat. Who's fault, the hairy thing, the Neh or the seller?
