But under the agreement, both governments are suppose to facilitate the entry of professionals between the 2 countries. (How many sinkies wants to work in India?)

And when it comes to opening of labour market, the restriction to employ indian has been reduced to bare minmal. There is no safeguard for sinkies. For instance, Indian under an employment pass are treated as equal to Singapore citizen and PR.

Effectively govt is disallowed to place any cap on the local - foreigner ratio or quota to the numbers of indian allow in. Refer to the the attachment, you can just see for yourself the freedom india has on our sectors.
