Headlines today about China couple winning goal is the closest POSITIVE news for sinkieporeans. Afterall, can anyone tell the difference if headlines is changed to 'Singapore' instead ? Just a matter of how much to get them to take our passports.

After the first page, the reat are 'better, faster, cheaper', aka more FTs, pay cuts for locals. Or 'increase productivity' aka 1 person do 2 person job (excluding MIWs where 3 person do 1 person job is ok).

Did you notice that Hong Kong, Brazil, India, , Mexico, Senegal, Bermuda, Ethiopia, Jamaica etc are taking part??? What are their chances of winning a medal??

Hasn't anyone noticed that there's no winter in Singapore. Singapore wanting to build a wintersports Olympic team is like Central African Republic trying to buy an aircraft carrier.

I was disgusted when i saw the front page photo of the ST today-
" Gold for China comeback duo".

I was wondering what is the relevance of the news to Singapore and more importantly to Singaporeans?-most of whom are struggling to make a living to pay off their 30 years mortgage of their 3 rooms HDB "palaces".
