Made ten calls and was asked to hold on for 55 minutes, but yet couldn't get
to speak to anyone.

Actually these call centres are getting worse by the day. You get the same with Singtel. I often hold for half hour.

For non urgent cases I use the snail mail method, and find it alot more effective.
