Caught on camera: Man stuffs GF into suitcase & brings her home
XI'AN, China - A man attempted to kidnap his girlfriend back to his hometown, after she wanted to break up with him following an argument.
In Sina's video report, CCTV footage showed the man, Wang, and his girlfriend, Mu, walking into the lobby of a hotel in Xi'an and entering their room on June 15 at around 10am.
The video later showed Wang dragging a big suitcase out of the hotel room with difficulty. He was seen leaving the hotel at 3.18pm.
According to a Xinhua report, Wang rented a car for the trip back to his hometown Liaoning. The two drivers heard cries from the suitcase, and discovered a bound woman after opening it.
In an interview after his arrest, Wang said that he asked his girlfriend to "bear with the discomfort for a short while" and promised to take care of her for the rest of her life.
He has since been arrested by police in Liaoning province and is currently undergoing investigations.
