Wow, how come I never think of that! It is a brilliant idea and it's so innovative.

From now on, why dont we pay all our PAP ministers salaries with shopping vouchers too? Since they are highly paid civil servants, why dont we pay half their salaries(50%) with cash, and another half of their salaries(50%) with shopping vouchers?

In this way, not only we can generate revenues for our country, and it will also help to increase employments in the retail and service sectors.

Hooray!!! Win-win situations!

Would stimulate the economy and would also silence the whiners who claim that our ministers are not setting an example. The shopping vouchers should be valid only in SG and not in Paris/Milan etc

And the idea of paying 50% salary in coupon/voucher of all ministers/MP/All goverment employee monthly salary more than $15K should be make compulsary.
