I thought if USA shooting can be sharpen at this level more , like they are in NBA ! I think SPAIN will be in for a hiding.

Unless SPAIN and others European country can produce talented basketballer like a converyer belt. They send tthese players to play with NBA. If not , after the GASOL brothers, spain will be nothing.

But credit to the USA team , they did not have a so call CENTRE in their team. That why Gasol brothers of SPAIN have a good game down under the basket, until CHRIS BOSH came in who can match them in terms of rebonding.

They defeated other teams with their superior skills and fitness.

They should just award USA the gold medal. This year we can see they give alot of chance to the other teams, instead of dunkin they do simple lay-ups, seriously who can stop wade james anthony and bryan if they keep getting to the basket and dunk.

That would depend on the fact whether can they send top quality players to the NBA. If the majority of team players remain in China and play only in the CBA, then there's not much they can progress.

The reason on why foreign basketball teams were able to beat the US Dream Team in recent times is because they have many top players who play in the NBA and many of them are world class- as good as Kobe Bryant.

The only reason on why the Dream Team won this year is not because they have prime players now. Its because there has been a change in attitude overall. The desire to exorcise past demons absolutely was the goal for all players and that was vividly displayed by a normally petulant, arrogant Kobe Bryant.

And that sums it up really: when Bryant isn't behaving like an arse, you know the team is gonna be up for all the games.
