Having watched the political forum in CNA. I strongly suggest Chiam stayed in Potong Pasir with Lina to hold the fort. Though Lina is very genuine and auntie-like during the debate, the educated ones may be swayed by her lack of confident to deliver if her husband went out of PP to contest in GRC.
SDP, however, should contest in Toa Payoh-Bishan GRC instead of Chiam. They have done a lot walk-abouts in Toa Payoh over the years and their vocal members, such as vicent, will be able to connect well with more educated and "well-off" people in bishan area. If SDP can capture Toa Payoh GRC, it will send an important signal to LKY that not all his victims are loser.

I have already mentioned much much earlier that Chiam's wife would be a problem. It was wrong of Chiam to get rid of Desmond Lim in the first place in favour of KJ. I am pretty sure that Chiam is now panicking because there is a high chance he will lose PP through his wife. The way that Sitoh is so vibrant suddenly tells a lot.

Older and low educated people may not like SDP. It's a little risky since they don't have much charisma to turn their voters on. Chiam is old and he may have to surrender his pink ic one day. He has to pave a way for his fellow men to anchor a GRC as a credible base (represents more people) to fight fascist.

Cut Lina some slack. She is fresh to the political scene as a 'MP'. It is natural she will falter at the initial debating stages, after all she was not a lawyer but a nurse. And last I heard, nurses were not required to have great oratorical skills.

Appeal to all time loyal residents of PP. Hang on and hold the fort tight. The tide is coming. This is the year where all your effort will be appreciated. You will not be alone anymore. Very KanJeong as election draws near. Lina may not be on par in competency as CST but as long as she has the passion and guts to stand and fight for the people, that is the most important factor. What is the use of having a good team of elite skolars with noses scraping ceilings taking office but lack the heart and compassion to listen to peoples' problems or got no guts to stick their heads out to fight for them for fear of antagonising the party chief. The whole scene looks like the battle of 赤壁. The opposition camps and people of Singapore need an east wind 东风 to appear to boost their confidence. Where and which is the east wind?
