Serious Can I Bring PAP To Court?

PAP has manipulated SG's Constitution to say that every 5th EP Term is reserved for a Malay candidate.

CCS has said that AGC has advised that the 1st EP was Wee Kim Wee. Based on that the 5th EP Term is from Sep 2017 and that term is reserved for a Malay candidate based on PAP's manipulated Constitution.

But we know that AGC advice is wrong because the 1st EP was OTC.

So if PAP insists on reserving Sep 2017 PE for a Malay candidate, can I bring PAP to court to get a SG Court ruling on:

1) 1st EP was OTC and not WKW
2) Reserved EP for Malay candidate is therefore Sep 2023 and not 2017

Any advice from any legal eagle?

CJ Sunderash Menon is leading a panel of 5 Judges to hear TCB's appeal.

The Appeal will be heard in open Court at 10 am 31 Jul.

This is a historical case by a Singaporean against AGC and the manipulated Constitution.

Another important point is that the panel has been expanded from a normal three-man to five.

Also the Judgment will have widespread implications.

The US Federal Judges were also nominated by the US President. But they remain fiercely independent and defend the US Constitution stoutly.

Are our Judges less fair than US Federal Judges, are running dogs and defend the PAP rather than SG's Constitution? I suspect that AGC has fumbled and advised LHL wrongly that WKW was the 1st EP, causing LHL to manipulate the Constitution wrong and amend reserved EP for malays to 5th term rather than 4th term.

It is worth for me to consider a legal challenge

You are not just fighting a gahmen...you are fighting an entire system.

Judges, whether in USA or SG, are supposed to uphold the law without fear or favour.

USA's Judges are doing that. Are SG Judges any less?

An important observation at yesterday's trial was that Hri Kumar dared not stick out his neck to explain why AGC recommended that the count for the 1st Elected President starts from WKW. He insisted that it was Parliament that decided to start the count from WKW. This is a weak point which detrimental to AGC (LHL had explained that the govt took AGC's advice to start the count from WKW). Hri Kumar didnt dare answer the Judges questions directly and tried to tolak with mother hood answers. Hope that the Judges hold all these against AGC.

Overall AGC gave a weak defence and we hope that the five Judges are fair and just and they give a favourable judgment to TCB.

I wait with great anticipation for the judgment as yesterday's trial proceeding was favourable to TCB. It couldnt be better.

According to Hri, Parliament had the sole prerogative to decide when to start the count. But according to LHL, AGC recommended that it starts with WKW. What LHL is saying is that AGC made a good case to the govt to start count from WKW. But yesterday, Hri dare not back up the reason why AGC recommended the way it did as claimed by LHL.

Based on Hri's refusal, the Judges is likely to rule in favour of TCB as AGC was not able to justify its recommendation to start count from WKW.

Yesterday's proceeding exposed a b.ll less AGC and a clueless LHL. AGC pointed finger at LHL. LHL pointed finger at AGC. It looked bad on AGC and LHL

I agree with you.

But pap has warped values. The more dirty the judge is, the faster he will be promoted. So Quen Loh may be promoted soon
