Green lane borders opening does not help the tourism trade, they shld know by now. It only shows tat those Officials are paid to do something and not shake their legs during Covid. It's just a waste of time travelling with all the restrictions.

Exactly. I only travel when there is ZERO restriction. ZERO test, ZERO quarantine.

Let me tell you why ?

because of medical tourism and not meant for tourists of peasant stocks from both countries

in my 40 years of to and fro , I know one thing as a unrefitable fact , that is the medical facility in Indonesia stinks quite badly ,,,the vast majority of locals in Indonesia are totally reliant on herbal drink called Jamu , touted by ladies carrying a basket of all sorts of concoctions including for your prick , some of these ladies even allow you to test run the vitality of their Jamu

the so called doctors Indonesia manufacture are no better than our Nurses

hence expat myself will only go their hospitals run by their Pertamina , oil arm of Indonesia ...but such Hospitals are only in oil towns such Balikpapan

and the cost ? Oh my God ! Really ridiculous such as USD100 for a mere cold treated with Panadol , but since almost all expats whose medical bills are paid by the company , no body complain

but for the Super rich Indonesian local they rather come to Sinkie for treatments , that’s why most flights to and from Sinkie and Indonesia are full of those seeking medical attention

of course , Penang is a far cheaper alternative as well ...and at point Penang superseded sinki for medical tourism

Now majority Indons are heading to Thai Kok for medical treatment, Sinkierich doctors has over price their medical expertise.

But language still remains the biggest issue ...majority Indons even if they are chinks only speaketh Bahasa, hence comfortable in Penang but Thais even if they are chinks and a doctor as well cannot string a decent sentence in English , let alone Bahasa ...comparatively most of the specialist doctors in our mount Elizabeth are jiu Hu kias , so Bahasa comes naturally to them
